1. What are your shipping terms and conditions?

We believe in fair and equitable shipping costs. Our shipping charges can change daily due to UPS rate changes, fuel surcharges, etc. Charges are calculated using weight and distance. For domestic shipments via UPS, we round off the actual UPS charges to the next nickel and add $3.00 as a handling charge. For overseas shipments or any shipment that goes through the post office, we round off to the next nickel and add $5.00 as a handling charge. This policy makes for the lowest shipping charges in the Porsche parts market place. The total charged to your account will reflect the order total plus shipping costs.

2. When will my order be shipped?

Foreign Intrigue strives to process orders as quickly as we possibly can. Orders placed Monday thru Friday are usually shipped within 48 hours, although during periods of high volume, it may take longer. Orders placed over the weekend are usually shipped Monday. If you need your order to go out the same day that you place your order, please use an expedited service and we'll be sure to get it out so that you get your merchandise in time.

Occasionally we may be backordered on certain parts. This will generally delay your order for 1 - 3 days. Special order items may take longer. We will notify you if any delay exceeds 5 business days.

3. When will my order be delivered?

Orders that are successfully processed are shipped via UPS Ground unless an expedited UPS service is chosen. UPS Ground guarantees delivery within five business days to most places in the Continental US.

4. Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes we do. We normally ship international orders via the United States Post Office. Please call and speak with a Foreign Intrigue customer care agent at 1-703-771-9700 for delivery schedule and rates. You can also email questions to sales@foreinintrigue.com.

5. Do you ship to Post Office Boxes?

No, we do not ship to Post Office Boxes.

6. How can I track my order?

Once an order has been shipped out, the email address you submitted will receive an email with tracking information. Sometimes it will wind up in your "Junk Email Folder", so be sure to check it and feel free to add Foreign Intrigue to your "Safe" list.

7. What if I'd like to change my order after it's been placed?

In order to get you your Foreign Intrigue products as quickly as possible, once an order is placed, it gets processed immediately and cannot be changed. If you'd like to add items to your order, call one of our customer care agents at 1-800-800-8070 or email sales@foreignintrigue.com and we'll try to work something out.

8. Can I ship to an address that's different from my billing address?

Absolutely. When you set up your account online, you can enter a separate shipping address and even save addresses that you may want to ship to in the future.

9. How do I return or exchange a product to Foreign Intrigue?

At Foreign Intrigue your satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not happy, we're not happy. That said, we have a few return restrictions:

  1. No returns without prior authorization.
  2. No returns after 30 days from the date your order was shipped.
  3. No returns on electrical parts or special order items.
  4. All cores must be returned complete within 30 days of shipping your order.
  5. Refunds on returns will only be applied to the original form of payment.

We want you to be as pleased with your goods as we are to send them to you. We make really great products, but we're proud to couple them with even better returns. So don't worry, we've got you all taken care of.

10. What is your core return policy?

Certain parts you may order will incur a core charge. Examples include starter motors, generators, steering racks, voltage regulators for older Porsches, and certain older CIS fuel injection components. We levy a core charge as an incentive for you to send us your old unit. Many parts for older cars are no longer available from the factory or aftermarket manufacturers and must be rebuilt or remanufactured by our suppliers. We will send out your old unit for rebuild, thereby ensuring we have a working unit for the next customer. Returning your old core is simply a common courtesy to the other members of the Porsche community. Once we have determined your core can be rebuilt, we will refund your core deposit.

For your security, you billing name and address must match that of the billing information on the credit card provided.

12. Sales Tax

State laws require that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in the following states:

  • Virginia (currently 5%)
We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of Gift Certificates; however, items paid for with Gift Certificates will be taxed if shipped to addresses in the states or regions mentioned above.

13. Duties and Taxes

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you may be subject to import duties and taxes once a shipment reaches your country. Please check with the customs department in your country about its importation policies to avoid unexpected customs.
